Classification according to weight
The sponges are classified according to their weight of 18~45kg, and the heavier ones have higher density and elasticity.
The sponge with high elasticity is used for furniture, expensive sofas, cushions, industrial shoes, etc. due to its permanent compression strain.
Various uses
The density/elasticity/hardness vary depending on the amount of additives and accordingly, the use of sponge becomes different.
For such a reason, it is used for low-price sofas, bedclothes, and for soundproofing/sound absorption/insulation in interior construction.
